The Triumph Street Twin has been built in collaboration with custom bike builders, Down and Out Cafe Racers.

Triumph unveiled a custom Street Twin motorcycle that has been jointly developed with custom bike builders, Down and Out Cafe Racers. The  bike was showcased at The Bike Shed MCC custom www.paybestwatches.com bike exhibition in Paris.

The custom  motorcycle, built on the Street Twin’s classic looks, follows a minimalist design theme with micro switch switchgear, micro turn indicators and a single-pod instrument cluster housing the speedometer set on a custom mounting. The bike also features multiple custom design elements such as brushed alloy guards, large-spoked wheels with a 150 section front and 180 section rear tyre, and custom front forks to house the large front wheel and tyre. The bike also comes with a hand-made saddle and a custom seat base.

“The Street Twin provides an ideal platform for customisation; staying true to the classic Bonneville features, the custom Street Twin emerges as a perfect amalgam of classic aesthetics and contemporary looks,” said Vimal Sumbly, managing director, Triumph Motorcycles India.

The custom Street Twin is finished in a shade of candy orange with black livery and many blackened-out components.

The SUV concept is powered a 386hp hybrid powertrain with an all-electric range of about 80km; likely to preview the all-new Touareg.

Volkswagen has released teaser images of an upcoming SUV concept set to make its debut at the Beijing auto show later this month. The concept is expected to be the precursor to the all-new Touareg that is likely to be brought to international markets sometime next year.

The images shown reveal a number of LED styling details on the car, such as the C-shaped LED inserts on the front bumper, an LED strip running the www.fakeapwatch.com length of the grille and merging into the LED elements in the headlamp units, as well as LED tail-lamps. Other styling details include prominent character lines and vents on the bonnet.

The SUV concept, uses a 386hp hybrid powertrain with a choice of driving modes. VW claims an all-electric range of around 80km, and a six-second 0-100kph sprint time in its most powerful mode.

VW says the concept features a curved glass screen and heavily digitalised interior; it is likely to get an advanced new infotainment system. With this in mind, we can expect to  see www.hublotchannel.com

The upcoming all-new Touareg will make its way to India following its global debut, and is part of a massive nine SUV assault planned by Volkswagen and its sister brand, Skoda. The first two SUVs from the line-up making its way to India will be the new VW Tiguan that was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, and the Skoda VisionS-based full-sized SUV that is expected to arrive sometime next year. Other SUVs under this plan include the next-gen Skoda Yeti, and a host of SUVs from VW including the T-Cross and T-Roc-based production compact SUVs and the CrossBlue-based full-size SUV.

Price for the yacht-inspired one-off car remains under wraps; more Nautical models in the pipeline Designer Replica Handbags

Rolls-Royce has built a one-off yacht-inspired Nautical variant of the Wraith. The carmaker has refrained from divulging the car’s price and the name of the buyer.

The bespoke Wraith is painted in Arabian Blue and gets an Orchid White roof. It features an anchor emblem by the door handles and above the centre console. The interior too gets a yacht-themed dashboard made of Santos Palisander and Tudor Oak.

Rolls-Royce also confirmed that more yacht-inspired models could appear in the future, as a large portion of its customers also have an interest in boats.

The Nissan Kicks compact SUV could come in both petrol and diesel engine options and challenge the Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster for supremacy in this segment

Ahead of its global premier on the opening day of the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil, a teaser of the Kicks compact SUV was released by the Nissan recently. While the South American markets are set to witness the introduction of the Nissan Kicks initially, there are ample reasons why Indian enthusiasts should be excited about the car too.

First unveiled as a concept at the 2014 Sao Paolo Auto Show, the car could underpin the same V-Platform as the Nissan Micra and Nissan Sunny. Secondly, Nissan would be looking to phase out the Terrano that has failed to generate volumes, leave alone replicate the success of its Renault cousin, Duster. But though nothing has been confirmed by the Japanese manufacturer in India yet, these two factors could majorly influence its decision to bring the Nissan Kicks to India as early as possible.

On the outside, the car speaks of a sporty design, high-ground clearance and SUV-like stance. The concept came with dual-tone exteriors while complementing dual-tone alloys, an oblong grille and sleek headlamps further added to the sporty feel of the purported sub-4 meter SUV.

For the Brazilian markets, the Nissan Kicks could be offered with a 1.6-litre flex-fuel (petrol/ethanol) engine. However, the India-bound model could come with both fuel choices in the form of the 1.6-litre petrol and a UK replica IWC 1.5-litre diesel. The compact SUV market in India is brewing with options and if Nissan plays smart like Renault did with the Duster, it could definitely ride this tide.
