BMW to debut new models at EICMA
The BMW G310R, built in India by TVS Motor Company, will be showcased at the EICMA, along with other global 2016 year models
BMW Motorrad will be showcasing as many as six new motorcycles at the EICMA show next week.
Among the new bikes will be the new BMW G310R, the R nineT Scrambler, BMW C650 Sport and BMW C650GT. Details of the new C650 Sport and C650GT dynamic maxi scooters for sports, touring and urban cruising were announced in September, but this is the first time these models will be shown to the public.
BMW Motorrad will also show its new electric superbike eRR, with design cues based on the BMW S1000RR supersport bike. Another model in the BMW F series, will also be showcased at the EICMA.
For us, the biggest draw will undoubtedly be the new 2016 BMW G310R, BMW’s first sub-500cc model, built in India by TVS Motor Company, BMW’s partner. Once launched, the BMW G310R will compete with the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Honda CBR250R and Yamaha YZF-R3.
