New Mazda sports car concept teased.

New concept rumoured to be a successor to the RX-8.
The Tokyo motor show 2015 will see Mazda showcase 14 models on its stand. One of them will be the concept sports car which is said to be a successor to the RX-8. After the final RX-8 rolled off the line in 2012, countless speculations have been made about a successor to the popular sports car. Mazda officials had also previously hinted at a sports car development, but never made any official announcements.

The teaser images, however, show what can only be presumed as a sports car with the long nose, sloping silhouette, muscular wheel arches and dual exhausts. The new concept can be a possible evolution of the Kodo design language in line with the latest generation MX-5 Miata. Mazda gave no name for the concept and offered no details about the car’s drive train.
Design chief Ikuo Maeda has said he wants to revive the RX series, which includes the RX-7, a precursor to the RX-8. He also stated that any sports car couldn’t be called an RX without having a rotary, because the R in RX stands for rotary. Other cars that will be shown on its stand, will be the 967 Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S, the company’s first rotary powered mass-production model alongside the Mazda Koeru, a crossover SUV concept that debuted in Frankfurt in September.

The Abarth will also do the 0-100kmph sprint in under 8 seconds putting it on par with much more powerful cars.

BMW X5 M

BMW X5M/X6M

The BMW X5M and X6M will be launched in India in October and will cost between Rs 1.5-2.0 Crore. Starting with the mechanical aspects, as expected, BMW has fitted the huge 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 engine in it that gives it 575PS of peak power mated to an all-wheel drive system and an eight speed gearbox into both the X5M and the X6M. Both cars also get adjustable suspension with many settings, a sports exhaust and huge M-spec brakes. Both the SUVs also ride much lower than their regular counterparts and run on huge 21-inch wheels. The X5M and the X6M also get lot more cooling options due to the larger engines. On the exterior front, the X5M and the X6M will also get sportier bumpers, wide wheel arches and a quad exhaust pipe setup. The X5M and the X6M will go up against the Mercedes-Benz ML63 and GL63 AMG.
